Highway assistance stopped working

Right after the latest update. Pretty annoying. Looks like an appointment may be required. Truck is brand new.

did you do the infotainment reboot or full truck reboot (hazard and steering wheel button). You wuold want the full truck. After the last update you can also do the full reboot from the menu.

Full reboot right away, but no cigar. Trying to put truck to sleep.

I have found sometimes more than one reboot is necessary to clear a weird function. I hope your issue gets fixed that way.

Often I feel certain things operate differently some days. Assuming the vehicle drives fine I would try to use it normal for a few days before making an appointment.

Or make an appointment and then see if it clears it up, @Time2Roll..

It's easier to cancel an appointment than it is to get one.

Same issue after update yesterday. Spent some time on the phone with Rivian support today. Multiple resets. No fix. Rivian making me appointment to take to SC.

We had that on a brand new 25 R1S (two weeks old)- reboot fixed it. two days later we had the dreaded driving disabled plus. a host of other errors. Reboot worked again - It was the 12V battery that had to be replaced. Working fine since.

This may be the first signs of the 12V battery needing replacement.

My R1S is 2 weeks old as well but it was built a year ago, so maybe 12v battery is kaput. Funny enough, the car visualisation is all messed up and made no sense.

Ours was built Jan 2025. So likely sat somewhere for 9 months.

I've noticed some recent glitches with the Driver Assist where, driving fine - following the highway, then suddenly the lines on the drivers screen start bending and twisting, and the R1T begins to buck. I quickly disengage the system and retake control. I also longer get the images of traffic around me on the drivers screen. Sometimes, at a stop light, I will see cars crossing in front of me. About all I get is the vehicle directly in front of me.

I have a service visit scheduled for a few weeks out.

At SC, no update yet on what's wrong. Should get car back Friday. Asked them to align charge port door since it's already there.
