Very curious to hear from any Gen 2 owners that may have upgraded their horns and how. Curious to know if @RealWheelsEV new horn hack can work for gen 2 owners

Why is the RealWheelsEV option $236? The Hella horn and splitter is only $30 from Amazon. Is the RealWheelsEV option really 700% better?

Why is Rivian hellbent on emsculating, and eviscerating, all the great features of this car? Is it to fund more software and driver assist nonsense? They're just enlarging the window of opportunity for Scout.

there are lots of threads about upgrading the horn. I did mine this time last year - later gen 1. The later gen 1s (from memory March 23 on, although double check) are VERY easy to do yourself. You just remove a few screws from the passenger front wheel well, use this to split the existing cable:

Have the old horn on one splice, and add another like this on the other, and find an attach point and attach.

It took me less than 10 minutes, cost less than $30, and the horn is much more suited to a 3.5 ton vehicle now !
Any chance you got pictures of the install?

See my next post (after this one you quoted). I'd replied giving the thread with the install details including photos. The page I quoted, and the next page from memory.

Appears I have one horn on driver side only. Is there just a cable to splice on passenger side to add the high pitch removing wheel well cover or do I need to remove frunk and just split the single horn?

I doubt it unfortunately. Search for threads with 'horn' in the title - there are others who've switched out the horn on the driver's side and it's documented, although it's more involved than the passenger wheel well option.

Has anyone installed a new horn in a 2025 R1S. Difficulty? Any suggestions? Whose horn?

My gen 2 is louder than my gen 1 single horn.
