HOV stickers with PFF on textured bumper?

I had PPF on Model 3 for 3 yrs that the stickers were valid for. After the stickers expired, took less than 2 mins to remove all 4 stickers without any damage or adhesive left on paint - worked great.

Even though the HOV sticker program is going away in 9/30/2025, I will get one for our Rivian when arrives in the near-term. This time, I fully plan to use the magnetic option (thanks @SANZC02), instead of PPF. I like the idea of being able to take it off and back on easily. I hate any sticker on any vehicle...

I applied the sticker right on the textured lower plastic trim on my Model Y. Very subtle location and knock on plastic, the sticker has stuck for ~2 years without an issue and without touching the paint with anything.

I am going to do the same on my R1S when they show up this week. Will make sure to clean the plastic well with rubbing alcohol and a no shed cloth before I do. I will take plenty of care to re-run my fingers over the sticker about 50 times in the next month though to make sure it is stuck nice and good too.

the ppf won't stay stuck to the texture bumper. that's where i initially had mine but it would start to peel off. if you don't want to lose any flying off while you're driving i would recommend keeping it on the smooth and/or painted surfaces.

any chance you applied the carpool sticker directly to the textured plastic also? Sticker right to the textured plastic worked fine on my Model Y, but after my other post I noticed the texture is more aggressive on the Rivian. Since I only planned to use one sticker, I have a tester or two when they arrive at least.
