So just to circle, back: using all purpose mode, my garage is flat and this is where more often then not the easy access when getting back into the truck doesn't work, so the seat's far back and the steering wheel is up higher than the setting.

Also for Kneel mode I most often notice it in the garage. One thing I'm wondering is, perhaps I'm not putting it in Park, I'm just stopping and getting out but for example today when it happened, I looked back at the instrument screen and it shows in park, but kneel mode not indicated.

Oh well, it's weird, not the end of the world.

Also had my R1T since September so 11 months and 18k miles.
OP, both my kneel mode and easy entry/exit access works for me 100% of the time. My R1T got delivered May of this year.

For kneel mode, make sure you have the settings configured/enabled to activate when “parked”. The only time this feature won’t work is when parked on an incline or when a door is open before/during its activation.

For the easy entry/exit access, I found out that upon entry you need to “step on the break pedal” for your original sit settings to activate. Please note that unlocking your seat belt will trigger easy “exit” feature. If this happens, just go to your profile and hit the “recover” to reapply your sit settings again.

Hope this helps.

If all the above still fails, then a software reset or ticket to SC might be your next step.

@AYAYRON In my experience, If you open the driver door and hop out when it's in "HOLD" it'll automatically switch to park, but it will not engage kneel mode as the door opening acts as a cancel.

I wonder if this also has an impact on comfort access.
Comfort settings seems to work existing but not on re entry, that’s when I notice it because I’m sitting too far away

I recently injured myself and have been on crutches and using kneel mode. Here are my observations.

You need to be in automatic ride height mode. Kneeling only happens when you press park. However, it takes a good 10 seconds or so for the kneeling to begin. Usually passengers are more anxious to get out of the car and kneeling is paused or doesn't start.

An automatic ride height, you must be in either standard or low for the kneeling to happen. If you somehow are in high ride height but yet it's still an automatic mode it will not kneel.

Any off-road mode will not kneel.

Mainly what I found is the patience of my passengers. It's kind of second nature to stop the car and everybody pulls the handle on the door to get out which pauses the whole process.

First drive of the day - Easy exit/entry does not return to driving position (100%) of the time. Every drive after that, it does. Clearly a bug of some sort.

is it not working, or are you not giving it enough time to actually work? If you try to open the door too quickly, you haven’t given enough time to actually lower and it will pause. That is by design.

I noticed that when I come to a stop, step on the brake, then put it in Park, kneel mode does not work. If I come to a stop and put it in Park without touching the brake pedal, kneel mode works for me consistently. My driveway has a slight upgrade as well, but it's not hard to come to a full stop without touching the brake pedal.

I had the kneel issue (I don’t use comfort mode) and was on a previous thread on this. Here’s what I discovered:

-if you open the door quickly once in park, kneel won’t work
-if you’re in sport mode (low) it won’t kneel
-if you’re on in incline (I have that in my driveway) it won’t work.

I have learned that when I park to wait for kneel to begin before opening my door

This could be the catalyst for the failing kneel mode, AND maybe the easy entry exit, the harder thing for me to figure out is what causes easy exit to work but easy entry to not work, that's the easiest one to see that it did not work b/c the seat is very far back I can't touch the pedals.....I will do the calibration though just in case that's the issue

Kneel mode works fine for me given it's limitations. You have to put it in park to start kneel. If anyone opens a door too soon (not just the driver door) then kneel stops and resumes with the doors close. As several have stated it does not work on inclines. The truck has to be driven some small distance before kneel is enabled so moving it in the driveway doesn't usually trigger it. I frequently cancel the kneel using the steering wheel button if I am the only one in the truck. Using that button has never turned kneel mode off. It works just fine next time the truck is driven.
