And there's the insulting and belittling I was expecting! Very good, you never disappoint! ? Perhaps a wee bit predictable, but, well, that's to be expected! So run with it! Enjoy your Elon bashing!!!
Have you ever considered that your constant attempts to control what is discussed in each and every thread where the names ā€œTeslaā€ or ā€œElonā€ are mentioned is insulting? No one actually bashed Elon until you came to this thread complaining about something that wasn’t happening. Talk about predictable…

Is it really that hard for you to understand that people might have opinions that you don’t share and they are perfectly free to express them here?

There was literally no mention of his personal politics in that video. It showed one graph illustrating how since his failure to not buy Twitter, Tesla’s approval dropped 20% among Democrats and gained 3% among Republicans. :CWL:
"It" showed one graph or author showed one graph ? :CWL:

Elon invented the EV industry because he took risks for his beliefs while everyone else was too chicken to try. They fawned over him for 15 years, then they give up on the guy in 6 months because he happens to not be politically aligned with them. How fickle is that?

Elon ā€œinventedā€ the ā€œEV industryā€? He makes cars that happen to be EVs. The ā€œindustryā€œ of making cars already existed. I’m very sorry if I’m the first to make you aware of that. :CWL:

Musk deserves (and has received) plenty of credit for those risks he took. That doesn’t mean he also doesn’t deserve criticism for other decisions he has made.

ā€œItā€ (the VIDEO you say you watched) included ONE graph that simply showed the results of some polling regarding Tesla’s favorability after Musk failed to buy Twitter. Your reaction to it actually illustrates perfectly the overly sensitive responses from those who think he and Tesla can’t do any wrong and anything other than effusive ass kissing of Musk and everything he does is ā€biasedā€.

Instead of blaming Musk for his own irrational behavior you seem to prefer blaming everyone else for noticing.

Amazing, he fires a few deadbeats in public and you start rewriting his history. What about the SpaceX thing? Hint: It's still the same guy he always was!

I didn’t say anything about his employment practices, nor did the video. Try again.

Isn’t SpaceX the company where he fathered a child with one of the executives at his own company? Or was that the brain implant company? ?

I wanted to grab that quote in case you edited it. So by pre-Tesla EV industry, you refer the the Nissan Leaf or maybe Honda Insight or industry penetrators like those?

Don't hate on the guy for politics. It's obvious and petty.

Ooooh... fathered a child with an exec who fancied bangin' the richest guy in the world.

Then there's the whole going to space , giga factories, super charger network, and EV industry acceptance thing. You're right, he's awful.

Were there any EVs made before Tesla arrived? The answer is obviously yes. So he didn’t invent EVs. And the car industry also already existed, so strike 2. If you want to credit him with being the first to mass produce EVs and compete with ICE vehicles, you won’t get any argument from me. I have nothing but respect for that effort. But he didn’t invent a new industry. There is no ā€œTesla EV industry.ā€

You are the only one here obsessed with his politics. You were whining about the video being political in your first post in this thread. It didn’t mention his politics even once :CWL:

Just walk away. Logic and facts do not work here and shall not be entered into the debate. Either Elon is perfect and you love him more than your first born, or he is the devil and should be executed. No facts will sway anyone, I’m sorry.

He fathered a child with one of his employees. You make it sound like she won a raffle at the county fair:CWL:

People who defend Elon when it comes to employment are very far removed from and probably not able to speak to his practices. Tesla and SpaceX are not great employers, I've interviewed at least 100 ex-employees from those places. I've seen at least 500 applications where the tenure at those two employers for 90% is less than 18 months.
