how to disable the connected/connecting notifications

Apologies if this has been brought up in the past, but I couldn't find any threads on it. Does anyone know if there is a way to disable specific notifications from the Rivian phone app? Specifically, I don't care to see the "connected" and "connecting" notifications. One of these is always visible on my phone. I do still want to receive all other app notifications. Because there is always a notification for this app, I never check it, and therefore miss what I consider more "important" notifications. For example, I often miss the notification that my vehicle is unlocked. If My understanding is that this is something Rivian would have to develop, but I'm hoping that I'm just missing something simple.

Most notification settings can be handled with your device's notification settings.

That being said, with my phone (Google Pixel 9a), any additional notifications (door open, charging session complete, etc.) pop up & make a sound even with the silent/always there "connected" notification present.

Understood that some settings are handled by the device settings. So are you able to disable the specific "connected" notification?

It's gonna depend on your particular phone. I have little to no experience with iPhones, and things can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer with Android-based phones.

On my phone, I can press and hold a particular notification, then it's appearance changes & shows a gear icon I can tap to modify the notification settings.

I figured it out. You have to enable the "manage notification categories for each app" option in the advanced settings for notifications.

Thanks for the post. This was bugging me too and I found the notification setting you referenced on my Samsung phone!

Just turned it off on my Pixel by turning of the phone Key Status notification for the Rivian app.

That always annoyed me as well. Useless info.
