Title pretty much says it all...for the folks here who have managed to initiate (and hopefully complete) a buyback, what was the process?

I've had a recurring suspension issue with my R1T that is about to be the fourth SC trip and loss of vehicle and I'm ready to move on.

Talk to the service center manager and also call Rivian directly and let me then know that you want them up tenure the service history and initiate a buyback.

Depends on state for the process. In California it only needs to be in the shop for a total of 30 days for the exact same issue. Also, it must be within either 12 moths or 18 moths from new.

I'm in the process right now for my 24 Gen1 R1T Dual Large 17K miles, Xpel Stealth, V1 tonneau and new Michelin Defenders. Do have a Gen2 R1S Dual Max Perf with Premium audio which isn't that impressive a car. Very double minded about what to do one I get the #.

Contact a local lemon law attorney if Rivian gives you any grief.
Well worth it and no cost to you.

My concern isn't grief, it's just that with 17K miles buyback value is going to be much lower and I'd have to a lot of money to get a new one. The Gen2 R1S I have isn't a nicely built

Are you talking buyback or trade in value?

My 7 yo I-Pace is in process through the lemon law buy back at close to 100% value.

Recurring unfixed suspension issue may qualify. The attorney will advise.

Wow 100% buyback? Buyback value, i thought it would be reduced for use. Mine has had alignment issues, 7-8 times in service for it and bunch of other issues total time in service over 18 months is 3+ months. Including rare motor replacement and getting subframe retrofit. I suppose I should talk to a lemon lawyer. Any recommendations on the bay area?
