How will the Audio System for the R2 be?

Everything I have read about the Gen2 audio system in the RT and RS have not been positive. Any idea if the audio system will be improved for the R2? I can live without Apple Car Play but I would love to have a great audio system. Thanks

It will feature binaural ASMR technology so you will be placated and won't care that it sounds terrible.

How would anyone know? Spec and trim options aren’t even announced. Expect same caliber as what is available in similar price range. Expect similar to what is available in the R1.

Depending on who you ask the R1 sound system is somewhere along the spectrum of "Worse than Pat Benatar" -------> "Pure audiophile bliss" so it really depends on your perception and preferences.

I'd expect the base audio on R2 to be similar to the base audio on R1. I do hope that they make the audio processing more software upgradeable than the R1 system but as long as the components are decent the biggest factor to audio quality will likely be the source.
