Since it's been a few months, I'm assuming people have had some time to really put it through the wringer. As someone who spends a lot his time getting dirty on purpose (dog, offroading, snowboarding, etc), I've always thought the black mountain interior as the responsible choice. I'm also a bit worried about dye transfer. But man that ocean coast is NICE, so i'm looking for some good ole confirmation bias to pull the trigger :p.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
1500-ish miles. Dog, kids, road-trips, surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and plenty of weather …

It’s perfectly clean. You can’t see any evidence of dirt unless youā€˜re looking at the rubber floor mats. I’m interested to see how it holds up at the 1-year mark, but so far - great.

I've been worried about the same thing. I have a configuration lock on a Feb/March estimated delivery with Ocean Coast, but I've been starting to get cold feet. This video didn't help much as he goes in detail showing how dirty the OC got and how to clean it. I'm not someone who cleans their interior often. My current black looks fine and I've probably not cleaned it in 5 years. While my wife's car is light colored and looks absolutely terrible and probably has not been cleaned ever (~4 years old). I actually ordered the stuff in this video and plan on cleaning my wife's car with it. If it's a pain in the ass I'm going to switch to black mountain.

Great callout. Ironically, that video made me less worried about wear and dye transfer. I detail my car about twice a year, so seeing that the stains came out so easily leads me to believe it’ll hold up with my current level of care. I would be somewhat concerned with how much the product mentioned in the video degrades the seat over time. If not much, I’d definitely pick it up.

Yeah, if you clean your interior twice a year you should be good. I clean the OUTSIDE twice a year, and interior let's call it 0 times a year (aka never). So....why I have cold feet.

I have about 1,000 mi and wear blue jeans everyday. So far so good. No signs of any blue transferring to the seats.
