I have had weathertech in lots of vehicles, husky in a few. I prefer the 3D spyder kagu. They fit as good as weather tech. But they are a much more attractive appearance. They feel better. They don’t have any ridges. They almost feel like carpet. But they protect as good as weather tech and they are the same material.

Tasso,

Good to know! I'll have to check those out.

Thanks!

By the way, welcome aboard! I hope you enjoy poking around and jumping into these forums as much as I do! Lots of great people here, and good to have another one! ??

Husky Weatherbeaters > all. I've had them in several vehicles. They hold full spilled cups of coffee...so I hear...
I had curling issues with every set of WTs I've ever had, so I won't be buying any more. Maybe it's the TX heat... They're great when they're new & fit well, but they're thin & then they look like sh*t once they curl.

I've not tried the Husky Weatherbeaters, but I'm a fan of their top of the line X-act. Thick, flexible material with a good lip that fits great & provides excellent coverage.

Since Rivian has yet to announce a cargo mat for the R1S, I will definitely be looking aftermarket for that. Just need to get deliveries started so that we can get some measurements.

I talked months ago with the troops at Husky and planned to detour through Southern Kansas on the way home to visit them and allow them to measure the R1T for everything. Given that the factory delivery didn't happen, I'm hoping someone in that area (or traveling soon) would like to stop in and give them the chance to measure their Rivian. Somebody asked earlier if that would lead to a free set of mats, but I never asked. Anyone interested may find that it may be offered.

Probably having both an R1T and an R1S available to them would be best. If anyone's interested, please message me, and I'll share the info. I'd post it here, but some of their contacts are private cell numbers and I'd call them first to see if it's OK to release them.

Have a look at these cargo space liners. https://www.canvasback.com/

I have one in my car, going on 5 years. It has held up to firewood, car parts, bicycles, mulch, dogs, etc etc with barely a hint of wear.

I might be able to swing my R1S through Kansas. My brother & sister in law are moving to OK in May, and we might trip up to see them... wouldn't be far from Southern Kansas.

I have the 3D Kagu liners in our Model 3 and I had them in my Model Y. They looked great, much nicer then Husky or Weathertec and super easy to clean using a garden hose. For upscale vehicles they present much nicer then the flat plastic/rubber type mats.

Will order them for my R1T as soon as they are available.

Skyote,

Husky is just North of the Oklahoma border and East of I-35, a little South of the city of Winfield. Please let me know if and when you're going to be heading that way, and I'll forward the names and phone numbers of the folks I talked to.

Thanks!

I'll let you know once I have a better ETA on my R1S, which is the biggest gating factor at the moment. They close on their house late April, so timing might work out well.

Those look like a great option as well!
