Ditto here, same time period for ordering and expected delivery 4-8 weeks.
also launch package will still be available (will order that).
I don’t expect LIDAR will be available …. do not care about self driving.
still debating between 20” and 21” wheels, leaning towards 20”.

I'm going with the 21 inch wheels, figuring that if tire makers were happy to make more 22 inch tires for the R1 which shipped in much smaller numbers, the R2's popularity is pretty much going to guarantee 21 inch alternatives long before we're going to need a new set.

My son and daughter-in-law got the same time frame. They ordered on day 1.

They live closer than me. About five miles.
