Initial Comparison of Running Boards and Rock Sliders

Regarding rock sliders: are there details on clearance heights after installation that you could include? I'll go and check this out myself, but wondering if you saw anything in your research.

Ha, ha. It's been a year, so I totally forget.

Seriously, I think it is just web-page by web-page (to find out). Rock sliders would have to be lower than the bottom of the car to be fully effective, is that correct? (I am not experienced with these things.) I am wondering if clearance is approximately the same for most of the RS products?
