Interior door chrome scratches easily

There’s not much to this PSA. Here’s my driver’s door. I suppose it’s a ring or a watch doing the scratching, but usually my watch is covered by a shirt or jacket. “Chrome by the arm” is not a design choice I would have personally made, but I’m not a car designer. At least use hard metal.

Thinking about his a bit more, it's probably caused by external zippers on jacket sleeves. I don't think I've ever owned a car with metal where it can be rubbed by an arm or elbow, probably because of the scratching potential, but also because it's not soft, so it's not comfortable. You could hit your funny bone. I chalk it up as a mark of an inexperienced car designer.

Very interested in what auto detailing experts out there say on this one. The chrome and bronze (Gen2 Ascend) interior material is beautiful when it is new-like. It scratches suuuper easy. I have them too, but not to the degree in your photo. I baby it like crazy.

Is there a product and process that can restore this stuff?
