Intermediate stop on a navigation route?

I'm probably just inept, but is there a way to add an intermediate stop to a console navigation route?
On a similar note, is it possible to add a route starting someplace other than the current location?
Or is console navigation totally focused on "get one place from here"?

Thanks, not sure how I missed that. One further question -- as nearly as I could tell, the only way to get it to save an edited version with added stops, is to tell it go "Go", then stop navigation. Is that true? When I edited a trip and then searched for something else, the edited trip was lost, and it reverted to the old saved trip.
