Interrobang Gear Tunnel Slide Preview and Production Update

I missed this slide! I've held off on getting any of the other ones due to wasted space. I was interested in the SK [=0===0=] TR Slide Out Utility Tray, but decided that it gave up too much space to pre-organized boxes. I love the idea of a low-profile one like this that allows for flexibility, whether that's for tools, bike gear, etc., but would allow me to take all those things out to put duffel bags in when we are traveling.

A few questions:
-What material is the deck itself?
-When are you thinking we can get V2?
-How much are you thinking this will cost?

-The tray is powder coated aluminum and marine grade composite.
- We’re looking to open up sales in the next week or so and get them shipped out in September.
- We're aiming to keep the price under $1500 including shipping.

If anyone is interested in a quick update, things are happening! It's taken much longer than I would have liked, but in the end I think it's all going to be worth the wait. We've been working with a great local fabricator and they're in the middle of finishing up our final validation unit. These guys are another incredible family business here in Akron, Ohio. When NASA needed some fresh lunar rover wheels, they made it happen. I've been testing out a prototype for the last few months, and it's really elevated the functionality of the gear tunnel for me. Once this last prototype is finished up today or tomorrow, we'll ramp things up for a full run and should be getting these into some more R1Ts in the coming weeks. I hope it will be as helpful to you guys as it's been for me. I'm so so excited to show all the things we've been working on and hear what you think.

s00n... As soon as I have a firm production timeline from the fabrication shop, we'll be opening up orders. All the key parts are here in the workshop and the other raw materials are ready to go with the fabricators. Everything has taken so much longer than anticipated, but I guess that's the way it goes with this sort of thing. I'm aiming to get final product photos finished up this week and get the website updated. Hoping that we'll be shipping by the end of September. This will be a limited drop, but we'll be sure to give a heads up before sales go live.
