That's definitely the goal. It would certainly be easier and cheaper to only come out in one direction, but that's just not what I want personally. We're working on sourcing all the hardware and bits to bring the price down. It's crazy how much things like nuts and bolts can add up. I realized the nuts I had picked out were like $1.50 each and there are a million of them...
Not sure where you're sourcing from. I always found going from McMaster to BoltDepot saved us almost 70%

YMMV, especially if they're verily specialized bits of hardware. My suggestion is to standardize as much as possible, but given how far you are in development, you've probably gotten all of that figured out :)

I’ll check out BoltDepot for sure, thanks. I’ve been buying from a few different places, but my big mistake was trying to have all the bits anodized black. Would be nice, but probably not worth the added cost.

I’m definitely interested in the tunnel slide or whatever you end up calling it.
Gear Trolley? Echoing other sentiments, not thrilled about amount of space others give up (or their price tag). Is access to the power outlets hindered at all?

No, plugs are still accessible.

For what it’s worth - that’s the first aftermarket “gear shuttle” I’ve seen that I want. I value the minimalist approach and the flat surface it creates.

Here's a quick look at the finalized version of our Gear Glide Tunnel Tray. This has been in the making for over 18 months and we've finally distilled it down to what we feel is the simplest and most versatile form. The tray is a single, continuous piece made from the same powder coated aluminum and recycled UHMW as our tonneau covers for maximum durability. After so many different iterations and prototypes, we finally settled on a sliding mechanism that allows the tray to travel out from either side of the vehicle without taking up too much room or requiring any maintenance. Along the sides and middle of the tray we've CNC milled slots to accommodate accessories, bungie cords, and modules that will follow soon. The plan is to offer dividers, bins, and a few other options to wrangle anything you might need to throw in. From groceries and cycling gear, to an offroading jack and camera equipment. We're working hard to get these out and into your trucks in time for peak camping weather. Preorders will be starting soon and we'll be offering a discount to forum members. More info and photos to follow soon, but let us know if there's anything specific that you'd like to know.

Seems pretty low profile, I like it. What is the installation like, similar to other slides out there?

There’s a trim piece that needs popped off on each side, then it’s just positioning and tightening 4 thumb screws. Probably similar to most of the other ones, but the sides of the tray make it really easy to slide in by yourself. It’s definitely easier with a friend, but I can do it myself in a minute or two.

I like the design. Can you fit the tonneau cover with the gear glide tunnel? Is it one piece inside that you can pull out on both sides?

Yes, you can still store the Interrobang Tonneau Cover in the tunnel with the gear glide installed. The height of the Gear Glide Tunnel Tray is only about 3.5in, so that leaves plenty of room above the stored tonneau cover for extra items you may need to shuttle around.
Yes, it is one tray that sits on the glides that can be extended out on both sides of the gear tunnel.
