Just started watching, looks like he got couple of weeks a lead time before he got his car. So still some hope left for Jan-Feb delivery window folks.

It's a worthwhile interview, as it answers a lot of the commonly asked questions such as how the pre-delivery contact works. Note that while he mentions being the second real delivery, he's only referring to deliveries done by that driver in the Chicago area. There have certainly been more than 2 real customer deliveries.

I am sure they fired him first, delivered the vehicle and then rehired him.

Not sure how he can be sure he was the 2nd non-employee ever. it sounded like he was the 2nd delivery to the guys he took delivery from

an acquaintance who knows I am all in on Rivian told me he saw a truck today in his Portland neighborhood. 99.9% sure this was a non-employee truck that was delivered in January based on some other info.

Unless all the of the non-employees that have received their vehicles step forward and state it, we'll never know. Kind of stunned that many are still taken aback with some people enjoy their privacy too much to want the recognition of "Hey I got my (XXXX product)!".
