Oof. I just went out and compared this to our Acadia. It's almost 4" higher than it when at the lowest setting—and the Acadia has running boards. My wife will not be happy about that.

I believe the 21" wheels will reduce the vehicle height a bit more, so it might get closer to the same height, but without running boards, it's a tough ask of someone on the shorter side.

for short people getting into my Ram, I carry a collapsible step stool with a string tied to it. hold the string, climb in, pull the stool up, collapse it and put it on the floor. Works pretty well. A little bit trickier getting out though.

LOL, that would go over great. If we get an R1S, it would be our primary (shared) vehicle. I doubt anyone would be OK with needing a step-stool to get in and out of their daily vehicle.

Short people problems. Do you know how annoying it is to store things on the bottom shelves of cabinets??

I don't like the running boards, whenever I see trucks around me, the boards are always the first to rust with all the salt in the winter.

Short people have a funny way of making their problems yours. They especially will make sure you ”do” take care of those problems after you say “I do”.
