Oof. I just went out and compared this to our Acadia. It's almost 4" higher than it when at the lowest setting—and the Acadia has running boards. My wife will not be happy about that.not lowest but standard. -2” or so for lowest
The AT tires are 34 inches, the 21s are 33 inches so it will only lower it by Half an inch.Oof. I just went out and compared this to our Acadia. It's almost 4" higher than it when at the lowest setting—and the Acadia has running boards. My wife will not be happy about that.
I believe the 21" wheels will reduce the vehicle height a bit more, so it might get closer to the same height, but without running boards, it's a tough ask of someone on the shorter side.
for short people getting into my Ram, I carry a collapsible step stool with a string tied to it. hold the string, climb in, pull the stool up, collapse it and put it on the floor. Works pretty well. A little bit trickier getting out though.Oof. I just went out and compared this to our Acadia. It's almost 4" higher than it when at the lowest setting—and the Acadia has running boards. That's too bad. The renderings in the configurator make it look a lot more drastic. The AT tires are 34 inches, the 21s are 33 inches so it will only lower it by Half an inch.
LOL, that would go over great. If we get an R1S, it would be our primary (shared) vehicle. I doubt anyone would be OK with needing a step-stool to get in and out of their daily vehicle.for short people getting into my Ram, I carry a collapsible step stool with a string tied to it. hold the string, climb in, pull the stool up, collapse it and put it on the floor. Short people problems. Do you know how annoying it is to store things on the bottom shelves of cabinets??LOL, that would go over great. If we get an R1S, it would be our primary (shared) vehicle. I doubt anyone would be OK with needing a step-stool to get in and out of their daily vehicle.
