Inverter is non polarized. Can't insert stuff

All you have to do is grind down the larger side, duh! Everyone knows that! Darn people who have to buy polarized plugs. How dare you insult us with this nonsense! ??

I can't plug the grinder in either... it's gonna take some time to deface every plug I own but grinding down a non grounding adapter is easiest. Just stupidity compared to what Ford has done.

Yeah it seems silly to not have a polarized outlet. I haven’t plugged anything in yet, but that would be an annoyance for sure. I have an adapter I got on Amazon for other things. That might be your only option at this point.

Thanks for the thread. Today I will dig out one of those 3-2 adapters I have in a drawer but rarely use anymore, grind it down and put it under the back seat.

Not sure what the issue is? It works fine on mine, just push it in. If that doesn’t work for you, there’s a simple solution to this. Go to a big box store or hardware center and look for a power strip that has a non-polarized plug with polarized sockets. Keep it in the vehicle. Or buy this one from Amazon. Done.

All I can tell you is that my 2022 R1T 92xx has polarized outlets both in cab and in truck bed.
