I have tried a lot of different ways to make Alexa work for me. I find it worthless. I do better using Siri to make calls or send texts and though Siri does a good job of finding businesses and will navigate to them effortlessly, it can not communicate with the google map program on my R1S. Since I use Apple Carplay on my two other vehicles without a hitch, I am frustrated that my R1S won't work with Carplay. Hate Alexa.

Amazon Music: I figured I’d true using Amazon Music, which we sometimes listen to at home. It’s so bad I will most likely not get Connect+ after my trial it sounded as if I was listening to AM radio 30 years ago. I lost signal on a major freeway when going under a damn overpass.

Been listening to Amazon Music in my Rivian for 2.5 yrs now. They started having problems with dropouts with a software update earlier this year. it's a little better with the latest update but still a problem. outside of the dropouts though, sound quality is absolutely one of the best options we have. Other music sources seem to be more stable at the moment.

I am happy any time I don't have to lean to the screen and search menus for a small icons to tap. For me, Alexa is accurate with navigation 99% of the time. My Audi fails most of the time; my last Ford was even worse. Over the past year, Alexa has improved with car functions. When
I got my Rivian, Alexa didn't know how to turn on the seat vent (or so she said). Now she complies when I say, "turn on my seat vent high". Amazon music sucks. I don't understand how it can be so bad. It cannot get through a single song without chopping up. Other music services are crystal clear, which suggests my hardware is fine.

Yeah I’ve given up on Alexa. There’s a sams club in my area in which if I tell Alexa to navigate there, the directions send me in circles because it thinks the location is on the freeway but when I type it in to the navigation manually the directions work fine. Not sure why Alexa input is different than manually typing it into the navigation.

I tried alexa to get directions to the VA Medical center in Philadelphia, PA and every time it failed no matter how I phrased the request. alexa is worthless.
