Just an update to my San Jose Service. Vehicle was dropped off on Wednesday last week. Was moved that night and has been sitting in the same spot ever since. I dropped the truck of with about 35% charge and the battery is now down to 3% from sitting. Is this something I should let my service adviser know about?
You should and it is very sad that they don't monitor the vehicles for something like this that are in their possession. Pathetic really....

No harm in letting them know. Sucks that they let it drop like that? My first and only service appointment so far back in October was pretty great at Costa Mesa. But getting apprehensive again now that I'm going back in this week. Last time I dropped my car off with like 71% and after 10 days, picked it up at like 68%. They turned off gear guard, everything, even disconnected my aftermarket dash cam which probably helped with the battery drain. Had to remember to turn everything back on before leaving the SC.

So my wife called yesterday to have them charge the car. I messaged them on the app yesterday to charge the car. I messaged them again today to charge the car. Still not being charged. Down to 1%. Anyone have any advice besides driving 1 1/2 to go plug it in myself? First electric vehicle. What sort of damage will this cause? I am amazing that I'm 1000 miles into the truck and at the point of say I'm Done with this BS.

I must also say that I'm amazed by the truck and cant believe how good it is. But what the hell, are they trying to run the company into the ground.

There is an excuse. Really someone who has no stomach for dealing with the major growing pains of a relatively new company shouldn't be buying a Rivian. They should wait 2 years. I know I bought the car hoping for the best but fully knowing that I could be in for a lot of headaches. No pain, no gain.
I appreciate this, but realistically the average consumer is expecting a quality car for their money. The number of early adopters willing to sacrifice for the mission is pretty small. And you don't see Rivian advertising the car as, "for long suffering buyers only." They're marketing it as a finished product ready to go.
