July vs Aug Numbers Insight?

Hi friends. I custom ordered an R1S but soon after putting in the deposit I received a call from Rivian associate basically saying that he is expecting lease numbers going up considerably in August so if I want a better deal, I should pick something from the shop (or wait for my custom built if I want the exact spec). Does anyone have any insights into this? Are the lease numbers really expected to go up that much? The Rivian associate was nice and polite but I just wonder if he was trying to bluff so I would get one from shop sooner. Thanks.

My custom build took 4.5 years before I was able to take delivery.
The employee is trying to help if you are flexible but, if you want what you've spec'd then wait for the build.
