@kanundrum -- also, your Kahunas are bigger than mine! Not sure I would have attempted that myself. What product/color code did you use? Is there a prep/primer first?

Ty sir it's all a kit from dip your car. I may actually change the color to more copper now that I see it in person in the light.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
This is excellent! I’m seriously considering painting my 21s a similar color. If I commit, will report back. Might start with the spare first to see how it works …

Wow that's wild! Is this slightly different than your Giulia? With your method, like you said you could run with it for a while and then go back to a different shade later. If you would like your front tooth to match, hit me up!!

Using the spare is my plan as well. If I like it, just means I'll have gained some experience by doing it on the spare first.

I'm curious how the material ages. I know it will depend on a lot of factors (sun exposure, weather, etc), but curious if it is something I'll need to redo every few months, once a year, once every few years? Anyone have experience with this?

Mine were black on my other vehicle and remained black for 8 years LOOL. But they hold up well provided you arent tracking your car and rotating your tires every 2k miles.

Happy 6 Months of Ownership! Boy does time fly when you are having Fun!As a Former Mechanical Engineer for Land Rover North America I am still amazed at the quality and work they put fourth in making the mechanics and dynamics of this vehicle. Here are some highlights as well as ownership points.

  • Vehicle has not had any major issues (VIN 391)
  • Small service tickets and recalls have been handled via Remote Team in my Driveway
  • Paint issues still exists and I will most likely opt to not fix them (drips in unnoticeable places)
  • Still perplexed at the failure of Property Management Decisions on the lack of a DC Metro Service Center (they had a LOT of chances and still got it wrong and left in limbo until the summer to which they will outgrow their planned SC almost immediately)
  • Phone as a Key as worked Flawlessly on Pixel 6 Pro & Iphone 12
  • 1 Charging issue at home where a hard Reset and a Sleep cycle fixed the issue
  • No DCFC charging issues (thought I rarely use it).
  • Community has been amazing and I try to contribute as much as I can!
  • Can talk for hours on the quality of suspension they have put together as well as the rest of the vehicle.
@Administrator feel free to make a post though I dont think its needed!
