I agree - the price to range value is going to be one of the best in the business. I'm not a huge fan of the designs Kia/Hyundai are using, and I do prefer the R2 by a good margin, this looks to be a fantastic offering nonetheless.

R2/R3 is going to face some stiff competition indeed. But we need others to step up and really challenge Tesla. Everyone should be happy with more quality choices coming to the market.
Competition is great indeed and very healthy. I'm really excited about the R2 and the Wife really likes the R3. We were joking that it'd be funny if we had every model of Rivian in the garage.

I think 2025 will be a great year when the wick is finally lit to launch the EV momentum here in the US. Places like Norway is already there with over a 90% EV adoption. Kudos to them. We're barely scratching 10% and that's if you include PHEVs.

One of the biggest culprit, aside to the fear of change, for most people who are on the fence of considering an EV is range anxiety. The reality is, if they knew the basics of an EVs usage/charging habits, this may help them adopt faster.

People still think one uses an EV from 100% to 0%. Once I explain to people that our utilization is between 50%-70% when not traveling, things click. Then comes the cell phone analogy of plugging it in at home.

In due time. We're getting there.
