I was told May-June in December, when I changed to the dark interior with El Cap outside. May 25th started emails, phone calls, then VIN R1S 994X, and an expected delivery of Sat June 10. I scheduled with the local center in So Cal, for Monday 9AM. Now 656 miles.

How was the build of yours and do you know the date? Mine isn’t too far off your build and picking mine up tomorrow!

New picked up from shop: Limestone Adventure quad large pack
vin 012751
Delivery in 2 weeks to Seattle
Picked ours up yesterday in Bellevue... our vin is 20 or so higher than yours... probably built on the same day.

Build quality was very good (GW, BM, 22 Bright). Only very minor rear hatch alignment issue (made note of it, will probably see if they can adjust if/when we need other service...but it is hardly noticeable)

The ones I have are mostly rubber seal issues on driver door.
Black plastic below passenger door is not flush
Driver side interior handle chrome trim is not flush
Suspension clicking sounds
Speaker static or vibration for some white noise tracks
Gps moves around under braking (could be sensor issue?)
Charge port opens in rain and in carwash
Water stuck in horn after car wash and doesn't sound great

Will have to see if we have any of those issues (just picked up yesterday and dropped off for PPF and Ceramic Coating immediately, so no road time yet). I did notice a very minor rubber seal sticking into the panel gap between the driver door and front vendor..but again, very very minor.

I am ~20 higher too, ours could have been next to each other. Mine is a R.Blue (somehow launch edition) with 22" Bright. I've noticed a couple of minor spots where there is a containment under the paint and panel alignment isn't as tight as I would like it, but otherwise really happy with the vehicle. Also, the rubber door seal in the driver side door is a bit off like others mentioned.

Another datapoint. I just picked one from the shop yesterday! Compass yellow R1S. VIN 157XX. It must be a really recent build.

Pictures of your spec please. We need some eye candy of what you locked in.

Unfortunately the wheels are not exactly what I wanted but hey, at least the delivery is almost 1 year faster than promised! Going to order 20" dark wheels as soon as the customer service opens on Monday. Going for a full bumble bee look ?

Very nice build and choice. Do you plan to keep the 21” wheel for road trips?

You’re gonna love the 20” all terrains. Even in sport mode and stiff. I love the ride.

I also like this build another member posted.

Compass yellow when built right looks down right sexy

Good idea getting the wheels asap before Rivian increases the price on them like the cargo crossbars.

Thanks for sharing. What interior did you go with?

Thank you! Both me and my wife absolutely in love with compass yellow. Rivian did such an amazing job with colors. They are all really vibrant and look stunning. Arguably best colors on the market of any manufacturer. I changed my pre-order more times than I could count.

I'm thinking about selling 21 wheels either as a set of as spares to the forum members. We don't really do many road trips so range is not the most immediate concern. Ultimately I'm planning to put 20 inch AS tires on. They should be pretty close range wise to 21s anyway!

We got ocean cost interior. Now the hard part -- need to pick the name for it :) Bumblebee? Banana? School bus? So many good choices!

Ocean coast interior is amazing. Solid choice going with that and 20” All terrains.

I like all three names. I’ll throw in another suggestion. Instead of Batmobile, call it Bananamobile.

or even better keep it simple and call it EV-BumbleBee

I probably should've got the 21's and bought Dark 20's afterwards but got it with Dark 20's from Day 1. It's super quiet with the RUS but would probably get the AS tires as well. I thought I read that if you get AS tires, the range still won't calculate properly based on the AS tires and will still show AT numbers? Anyways good luck with the new sOOn Bumblebee!
