Just took delivery this am (I know why aren't I out driving? Sadly had to work). Got a Limestone R1T delivered at the Chelsea MA service center. The truck was in amazing shape (i've taken delivery of 2 Tesla Model S's previously and this build quality was much better). Truck is amazing, exceeds my expectations and some of the things I was concerned about from surfing these forums just weren't a problem.

I have some noob questions I didn't find in all my video watching/forum reading:

1) When driving on Driver+ sometimes it tells me to take over for a Tunnel or toll (both you just keep driving), sort of annoying but other than yank the wheel away from its control, is there a better way to more gracefully take over?

2) Cruise control (love it and no phantom braking), but how do I resume cruise at my pre-set level?

3) Does the car read/show text messages and I missed it or is that feature not there (yet)?

4) Can you save favorite people to call? I saw an address book search but that's not great while driving.

5) I opened the spare tire area (I didn't get a spare as none were available) and had a heck of a time closing it. With tail gate open, being 5'7 I couldnt get much leverage on it to get it to latch on both sides. After 5 aggressive tries I got it done but are there any better tricks for closing that sucker? The way it was i'd basically never want to open it again.

6) Do you need a USB-C drive in the truck for anything (gear guard etc) or is that just if you want to unload videos it captured? The videos/responsiveness are much better than those I get on my 2018 Model S. Just wish it had the dash cam feature (I know, s00n)

Its going for paint correction and ceramic coating on Monday. But first its taking me on a ski trip this weekend ?

1) Push up on the right stalk to cancel.

2) You don't... We all want resume, but it isn't there.

3) No.

4) Set them on your phone, and the phone app will show recent calls.

5) Nope. Slam it. And try from the passenger side.

6) Just Gear Guard offload for now. Maybe we'll need it for dash cam. Whenever it comes.

Thank you. For #4, phone favorites, I have people favorited, but I see no list of favorites or anything to "speed dial" in the Rivian phone app. Is that just expected at this point?
