Fleetwood Mac would be proud of Rivian. After sitting for 16 days with minimal interaction, my 2022 R1T lost 22.3kW. It started with 58% / 174 miles and after 16 days was at 43% / 127 miles. Here's the fun part: session details are half that.

I expected some vampire drain, budgeted 20% over 2 weeks because gen1 with 2 12v batteries, and sure enough that was a smart move.

It's clearly made in America, because it's terrible at math.

Was gear guard on? I am assuming it was not because you said minimal interaction.

What were the ambient temperatures? How old are the 12v batteries.

I am asking these questions because I am starting to see a pattern across multiple posts on this forum where people see increased HV battery loss. I think this is part of the reason the last update is causing so many people to get 12v warnings.

Not on.

60s to 80s.

2 years I think? Not original, at least 3rd set.

I've also seen a lot more lag, freezing, and resets while driving since the last update that added the AI assistant. Free Connect and Spotify? Cool. Freeze up and slow down and shut off Highway Assist? Not cool. I stopped streaming and went back to Bluetooth to my phone and that's helped.

I am starting to think that the variability in vampire drain is due to how often the R1 platform is recharging the 12v battery.
I replaced my batteries with Ohmmu Sodium Ion a couple of weeks ago and although it may be to soon to tell, I believe my vampire drain has been greatly reduced.

I’ve noticed more vampire drain since the last update. Had been minimal for quite some time prior to that update
