I do love these posts because OP almost never comes back to confirm the ambient or battery temperature when almost certainly they start every drive cold and end every drive warm and wonder where all those kilowatt hours went
Not everyone is an enthusiast. They hit and run with questions to get what they want, do not contribute to knowledge base, and is heard no more until they want something else. The world is their supermarket and they are just passing through. Every forum on any topic is like this. Also why Reddit is especially bad (because of easy access).

Hi everyone it’s my first post here.
let me know if it’s not allowed.

We have R1T 2023 quad-large pack looks like we’re loosing KM every drive.
when my husband drove it on highway it loose about 10-15Km each drive.
yesterday I drove local it lost 20km!!

for example, before departing we have 350km. After driven 15km distance. The range left is showing 320km only.
That's normal. Don't count on mile to mile. Doesn't matter which EV you drive. All of them will loose the range. So that's normal. Also short distance will never be accurate. Not even long distances. Just go with the flow. If you want mile to mile than you will hate your EV.

FTFY.

Has absolutely nothing to do with EVs. Same situation exists on ICE vehicles.
  • You don't have "miles" in your tank, you either have kWh or gallons, depending on your vehicle type.
  • You "spend" the kWh or gallons to travel any distance.
  • Some routes (e.g. uphill) are more expensive - they cost more in kWh or gallons.
  • Some routes (e.g. downhill) are less expensive - they cost less in kWh or gallons.
  • The first miles of a trip are always less efficient and therefore more expensive because the vehicle has to "warm up" - there is always some overhead energy expenditure needed.
  • EPA range, which is measured using a standardized set of conditions (mixture of speeds, terrain, etc.), will be accurate if your driving replicates those standard conditions. But for any vehicle, your actual range will depend on your actual conditions and driving style. True of both EVs and ICE. EPA range is like MSRP at a car dealership - you can pay more or you can pay less, depending on conditions and depending on you.
This whole notion/concept that "I traveled x miles but used y miles of range" is ridiculous and absurd because you don't fill up your tank with "miles of range". You fill it with kWh or gallons. There are no new concepts here - it works exactly the same way for EVs as it does for ICE vehicles. If you persist in thinking that you have "miles of range" in your tank you will continue to think of EVs as some sort of mystical voodoo that can't be understood. In this case, there's nothing new to learn.

I find cruise control almost all the time, and watch the efficiency meter. Too many variables, but speed and temperature have the biggest impact
