MARC Meetup - Lums Pond
I am looking to plan our second official GTG for all Owners, Reservations Holders and those who are just interested in Rivian's. The date is TBD but the overall thought is early June.
Dates: TBD June(ish) - Fri / Sat / Sun?

Location: Lums Pond State Park, 1068 Howell School Rd, Bear, DE 19701

The park is divided into five distinct areas. Each area includes restrooms and has either a pavilion to rent, picnic areas that are available for reservations, picnic areas that are available on a first-come, first-served basis, or a combination.
All areas have access to the Swamp Forest Trail, which circles the pond, and the Little Jersey Trail. Parking is also available in each area.
Area 1 has two pavilions, with a capacity of 96 each, available to rent. Both pavilions have electric, water, 12 picnic tables and a large charcoal grill. One picnic area, with a capacity of 96, is also available to rent and has 12 picnic tables and a large charcoal grill. This area also features a disc golf course, horseshoe pits, the Go Ape Adventure Course, and vending machines. Restrooms are available. Alcohol is permitted in cans or bottles. Keg beer is not allowed.
Camping is allowed and reservations can be made online. It would be nice to have several Rivian owners arrange to be in one general area for camping!
The perimeter swamp Forrest Trail is great for beginner MTB riders and hiking, it’s about 7miles for 1 full loop. Its a nice flatter trail with great views of the HUGE pond.
Go Ape Tree Top Adventures is great fun, and typically takes about 2hrs to complete, and you take 5 total zip lines from the tree tops, across the water to the drop zones and next climbing obstacles. We love this place for small groups and family events. I have been in touch with Go Ape in regards to a group discount.
