Matte or Satin wrap-original to vehicle?

New to me 2023 R1T in El Cap Granite with a full wrap in matte or satin. I assumed it was an OEM option but that doesn't appear to have been available?

Rivian website discusses a partnership with Expel. Would that have been available in 23 MY?

I'm trying to figure out if there's any warranty on the wrap-the driver's door handle had peeled up and I need to replace. Just trying to determine if there might be any history through Rivian. Bought from a used dealership and they thoroughly sanitized it's history.

I don't think it was ever an option in 2023. In fact, I think it was an option until Gen 2 rolled around, but I might be mistaken on that front.

That's helpful! I'll check out Expel's warranty and hope it's transferable AND they track by VIN.

It is possible to find a fully XPEL wrapped vehicle in the shop. They appear from time to time. If you go on the Rivian shop you can filter for them via the Stealth Package or Road Trip Package. This is likely what yours was.

I just had Expel Stealth PPF done and I love it! My Glacier White 2026 R1S has never looked better. If you plan to keep the vehicle for more than 10+ years, then it’s worth it.

I definitely like the look of matte wrap, but never enough to spend the money!
