What do y'all think? My wife backed out of the garage this morning and aimed her car at my R2 like it owed her money. Thankfully it was low speed impact with only minor scraping, but my DIY/cheapass nature says that I could buff this out with some polishing compound...maybe not so that it's perfect but enough so that it doesn't bug me whenever I walk past.
As fate would have it, I just got a Half Moon Grey touch up paint pen in today's Gear order, so my thinking is I even this out, use the paint pen w/ clear coat and call it a day?

Looks like some paint was taken off. Pen is probably the path of least resistance, but they are difficult to get the repair to look good if you don't do this alot.

Yeah, it's not noticeable standing next to the car, but with a zoomed in pic like this, I saw the paint scratch right away. I might just go the polishing route to see how well it rehabs it, then see if I can live with the results. A professional will be the only way to get this perfect again.
