Does anyone have insight into what the Rivian Membership will come with and what the costs will be?

I have my delivery date from July-September and was hoping some LE buyers may have answers.

Beyond the sec filing that stated they expected additional revenue of up to 15k per user over the vehicles expected 10 year average ownership, not much.

I'm waiting for the shoe to drop on the "all features standard" driver + page. I'm assuming it will be redacted and reduce some of the capabilities as time goes by, separating the featureset into an adaptive cruise for free, and a driver assist subscription.

Idk what else they have in mind but I know tank turn is gonna be a members deal for sure. I don’t care, I’ll pay it if I can do zero radius donuts in the middle of the Whole Foods parking lot.

Initially, Rivian says it will be free. I don't know the ultimate cost or feature set, sorry i realize you are looking for an answer from a someone who has received a vehicle (May/June R1T LE I hope in my case).

Roughing out some potential costs. In Rivian's IPO filing, they suggested to investors they saw an opportunity to earn $550/year per consumer vehicle for "sofware enabled" services, $1000/year for self driving, and $180/year/vehicle from charging services. Pasted some references below. Rivian is suggesting the services could include spotify, Tunein subscriptions, LTE service, software updates and upgrades, charging services, maint support (like AAA?), carbon offsets......

Probably higher than what was originally planned (which I figure was 500-1000/yr) given the massive blowback for raising sticker price, they still need some cash if they're going to be selling cars at a loss for 2 years.

With people starting to take delivery of the cars though I'm surprised they haven't formally defined the plan.

Excellent thread. The fact that it is free for first year and we are so excited about delivery of our R1 make it easy to ignore what is in this bucket at the time of delivery, what goes in it and comes out afterward but Rivian has shown they are not on the same page about what is OK when it comes to how much we pay for what. The difference is that kicking and screaming after purchase is a bit more difficult especially if you don't know what you agreed to when you made the purchase. Those who take delivery, please keep the thread alive to document the changes to what is included throughout the next year and beyond.
