Well my plates expire next Friday, still nothing in the MN system when I searched by VIN. Apparently the registration package was delivered to the DMV processor on June 16th. Anyone else experiencing this?

I looked mine up in the DVS system and my VIN was there last week. The website said they are currently processing applications from like June 9th for titles, so they are behind it seems. My permit expires mid-September, so I think it will get processed in time.

To note, mine said the make was something like a "Yamaha Riva Scooter". I emailed DVS but have not heard back yet.

Looks like your delivery was 5 weeks after mine, its concerning that mine doesn't even show yet...

Stopping in to say hello. Guide contact yesterday despite wanting manual tonneau and max pack. My configuration is now confirmed and requires me to contact my guide if I want to change.

Wentworth - did they confirm a delivery date for your MaxPack configuration? I'm waiting for the MaxPack as well and the earliest I've heard is the first 1/2 of '23.

I heard back from my guide this morning. I was told first half ‘23 still.

i Took delivery on 6/10 and my vin isn’t in dmv system yet. I’ve left two messages with my guide, reached out via chat - they referred me back to my guide. Radio silence….

To make matters worse, my wife took delivery of her Tesla a week after the Rivian. Two weeks later we received her plates in the mail. I mistakenly assumed they were mine so threw them on my truck and chucked my temp plate. So now I sit with no temp plates and no temp tag. I totally own this but makes me wonder, if we got our MN plates two weeks after the Tesla delivery, what is Rivian doing wrong….

I did get my title on Saturday, however it has the wrong make listed. So I have to mail it back to them requesting a correction. No plates yet.

Just got an email today that Rivian needs a power of attorney form completed, which must be notarized. 3 days until my temp tags expire. Hoping I can get to UPS this evening as I work all day.

By the time I took delivery (6/29) they didn't bother with trying to get it registered. Just sent me the paperwork to do it myself.

Didn't take too long once I got around to - maybe an hour with standing in line. The DMV first had me paying MN sales tax, but they took that off once I pointed it out. Although I haven't been able to confirm that Rivian actually sent it in.

Of course I'm still waiting on the other associated fees to be reimbursed by Rivian.

Article in the Star Tribune and elsewhere today- Xcel to install 730 chargers around MN with most being of the 150 KW variety. I’ll let you do your own googling. If the RAN was up and operating or if this starts becoming reality, I could see passing on the max pack. But I’m still waiting on a manual tonneau.
