So I had to drive my wife unit to a number of Dr. appointments in Salem and Silverton this morning. We had an amazing 5" of snow at our Lincoln City home and things looked a tad dicey. I set the Green Lantern to "Snow" and away we went.

We really did not have any issues, except for maybe dodging the dozen or so trees that had fallen across ORE18. Going out had way more pucker power than coming home. We left our home at 6:30 am and just got back a few minutes ago. We passed over 10 trucks and cars that were not so lucky, with several in the stream next to 18, or even rolled over in a ditch.

The Willamette Valley and snow don’t go well together. Looks like you have the 21’s - no issues with sliding around or losing traction due to the regen? I’m fairly worried about driving in the snow because of how hard it will be to get a repair if something happens.

I tried to take the Rivian out today in the six or so inches of snow in my neighborhood to test capability.
I have the 22's and they performed absolutely horribly in this snow. I blame the performance 90% on the tires and 10% on the weight.
I've driven in other types of snow with them and had success, but it was a no-go in this snow. Temp was 27 outside, but I think the sun was warming the snow enough to be slippy. I could not make it up any slope without building up momentum on a flat stretch.
Fortunately I only got stuck in my neighborhood and had to shovel out and didn't embarrass myself too much.
I might see if I can convince my checkbook holder to get the 20's, but for 99% of my driving I am find with the 22's.

Yes, I have the 21's. I was a bit nervous at first, and things were a bit wonky when moving around in any snow over 10 inches deep. Other than that, the 21's were fine.

But then again, I lived for 10 years in western Massachusetts, then another 10 in Lake Tahoe, so maybe I know what I am doing?

Oh, and since I was literally in Snow mode, there were zero regen issues for me.
