Do you know the load ratings of the new wheels? The spokes do look thin to support the weight AND power/torque of the Rivian.

Unfortunately BC Forged doesn't share this information, but ensures the design always exceeds the minimum load rating required by the manufacturer.

Do you really want to find out the hard way when you try to brake at 80 mph on a cracked wheel? I would never buy a set of wheels not knowing the load rating.

Couldn't agree more; however we're talking about a custom fully forged wheel specifically turned for an R1S, from a manufacturer holding a very high reputation.

Custom wheels are only meant to fit a specific vehicle, not guaranteeing structural integrity. I don't have experience with BC Forged, but as far as I'm concerned, if I want a fully forged set of wheels, very high reputation go to either HRE, BBS, or Forgeline.

LOL guaranteeing structural integrity is most certainly part of the custom process, just as HRE, BBS and Forgeline would be doing (maybe not so much with BBS anymore since they've began outsourcing A LOT more over the past few years).

BC Forged holds a near par reputation as the aforementioned names, white labels forged wheels for many smaller companies, including Signature Wheels. I've seen far better customer service from BC Forged compared to Forgeline, specifically with getting orders committed, cut and delivered to customers.

I personally won't be as I'm satisfied with the 22" sport dark wheels, however since you're more invested than most, why not take the initiative and contact BC Forged directly, or perhaps the vendor used, ORT Motorsport.
