Anybody have experience on what happens to your PPF when it gets pinstripes and nicks trails? Does it really "self heal"? I would imagine you Colorado and Washington guys would know.

All my trucks get the inevitable minor nicks, dings and pinstripes from tree branches and things. Most of the cars I see getting PPF in Southern California are sports cars and sedans that aren't likely to see the same kind of use our trucks will.

Not sure what that is, but I’ve wrapped every fancy car that I’ve had in the last 10 years. Occasionally a large rock will penetrate but it’s far better than paint alone.
And most installers will take care of you if there’s ever a real problem

Do they just rewrap the area with the tear or hole? Like an upper door Pilar that has pinstripes etc?
