Thanks! I’ve read that thread but missed your post somehow. Odd that the scissors aren’t trauma shear type. I’ve got so trauma shears thot don’t have the ”foot” for cutting clothes. I’d probably stick those in too.

I woke this morning having dreamt that I had been assigned my Rivian Guide.
Thank you for the response. I was give May-June window so has to ask a fellow R1S pre-orderer.
I was told by CS that the difference cannot be determined visually (which conflicts with the marketing material that stated it extended farther for added protection etc. etc.) so it should look identical. The most I could get out of them was that the front skid plate has an extra layer of protection underneath the same exterior cap. No spec differences otherwise (i.e. material stiffness ratings etc).

Glad to answer any questions. The delivery process was super smooth. The only issue I ran into was accessory availability. Per my guide, the all weather mats, tent and crossbars aren’t currently available, at least not in SoCal. To be honest, I can wait a couple of weeks, after waiting over three years for the truck!
I'm really interested in seeing the difference. Now that I have the option of not including it in my build, I'm considering leaving it off to reduce the extra weight.
