My SUV is 2024 looking for 12v inthe frunk

Based on my purchase agreement, it’s a 2024 model, but according to the manual, it looks like a 2025.


I’m planning a trip this weekend and need to bring a cooler, so I was looking for a 12V outlet. I checked the frunk but couldn’t find it. The manual says that for the 2024 model it should be in the frunk, but I don’t see it.


Is it located somewhere hidden?

Iirc, it was removed starting in early 2023. Some have it, some don't. Some have the wiring to pretty easily re-add one, and some don't. There's been a ton of threads about this. Rivian was saving pennies where they could but it's certainly upset more than a few people.

I've only ever used it to power the Flux Capacitor, I would never put a fridge in that enclosed small space.
