Navigation oddity

Every time I drive from Cape Cod to Boston the nav wants me to stop at a weigh station. Does it think the R1S is a commercial truck? Is it commenting on me being overweight? By the way, the weigh station looks permanently closed.

Is it actually listing that as a stop, or just that you need to make a right at the weigh station (as a landmark)?

Probably something like that. But it’s, ok bud. We all could stand to lose a little weight.

I wonder if it's something stupid like the weigh station being on the inside of a curve, so driving through the weigh station saves 50' of travel distance vs staying on the main highway.

GPS navigation systems tend to have problems with these siding areas that run parallel to the highway. Until recently, the Kansas Turnpike had toll booths, and many GPS maps would tell you to exit through the toll booth instead of staying on the main highway and going through the optional transponder readers.
