Need help—R1T tailgate install

We recently had our tailgate replaced at a Rivian certified body shop after a run in with a Ponderosa pine tree. I think there is a part missing. There is a lot more give on the replacement.

Can someone post a photo of the the hinges of their open tailgate with the liner up, please? Our hinges are resting directly on rear fender. Doesn’t seem right.

Thanks. They did. The news ones are even looser than the originals. I know they are for safety and don’t need to be taut but…
