20" Inch New Goodyear 20” tire option - available when?

I’m not sure why that isn’t an option. Could be at some point in the future. Hopefully they’ll be back in stock soon. It does seem TireRack has some availability now.

TireRack currently doesn't give discount on the tires unlike Goodyear website.
(TireRack had $80 off 4 during Thanksgiving but still less than what Goodyear offered)

Sounds like a lot of positive reviews of these the Territory AT. Anybody hear of Goodyear planning to make a 275/65/20 though? I would def like to keep the original size. I also have autosocks for the original size and don't really want to go into rivian to re-program everything again.

The Rivian specific Goodyear Wrangler AT has Goodyears latest compounds, a unique tread pattern and sidewall design. I feel the design team did a nice job minimizing tradeoffs and creating a tire that performs well in all conditions.

how have they holding up with all this snow we've been getting? how about the rain and slush on road?

looking to replace my stock pirellis, have 40k miles on them have read a ton of reviews but would rather support the local brand

for me, im mostly on local road/highway and do a lot of trips and towing with my 6k lbs trailer to the track, so efficiency and road comfort/noise is key for me. i do take it up frequently to go mountain biking and skiing, so some AT characteristics are ideal for me (worried if i go full AS like the LTX M/S2). balance is tough

Hi @Kheires, I have been very pleased with the Goodyear's performance in the snow, slush and rain. This tire sounds like a good fit for your truck! So, I had an appointment today to change the tire size from the 21" diameter to the 275/60R20 and currently Rivian will not allow Gen 1 cars to have that tire option in the software, it does not even show up in the flashing section of the tool. Gen 1 can only be sized with the tires it offered from factory....

The head tech said I am not the first person to run into this and said he was escalating to HQ about resolving.

The overall diameter is pretty much the same. I had the Factory 21's on before I put on the Goodyears. Nothing needed to keep the speedo pretty accurate.

Hi, if you’re coming from the 21” wheels (or 22” for that matter) the 275/60R20 has the same 33” OD and the software is good to go. It’s only the 275/65R20 that has a different (34”) diameter.

Its off by about 3mph showing to high. It's just crazy that they are restricting the 60 to Gen2... I have had mine on for the last 7.5k miles but with a new service center close I figured why not.

Got a set of these mounted yesterday on some Black Rhino Voltaics. Swapped from the original 21's to these in 275/60-R20 on 20's. Pretty pleased so far. Earl efficiency looks good and they don't sound any different than the stock AS.

Just got mine installed today on my new-to-me 2022. The old Pirelli ATs were original. They were at the wear bars in the front and the rears weren't much better. I've had some noisy tires in the past - some R compound tires for my M3 come to mind - but the difference in noise alone at low speeds is remarkable. Can't wait until they break in a little.

Did you have rivian change any software configurations or just left it as is? I'm also on stock 20's right now. Plan to eventually go with these goodyears. Should i just leave the config as is?

I have a 7500 mile service appointment next month. I am hoping they will update the software then. I believe the Rivian team is working towards a way for customers to change the tire size. Hopefully, that will be an option in the future.
