Thanks for all the replies and sorry to hear others have experienced this or something similar. As an update, I had the truck in for over 30 days in January and they informed me they fixed the issue. An ECM under the seat was replaced that was faulty. Picked up and drove away satisfied.

Fast forward May 18th 2025. This time I was NOT at a fast charge. I was at a sports event I drove to, parked for 1 and half hours and came out to the same thing I experienced twice before that Rivian supposedly fixed. We were stranded at the sports park but Rivian got Uber credits and rental set up. This is all well and good, but every time you have to call back it is a different person and you have to go through the whole scenario with a new person every time. I must have repeated myself at least a dozen times to new phone service reps.

Ultimately we figured it might be same and that after overnight sleep cycle it would go back to normal. We still scheduled Rivian Service Appt. but used Uber credits to get back next morning and as usual, after sleep cycle, it was back to normal. Drove rest of day and in afternoon went to pick up kid from High school. Waited in Park for about 30 minutes, picked up kid and then attempted to drive out of High school parking lot. Before I got to intersection (going about 10-15 mph), Every Rivian error/message light came on, car continued forward, no power brakes, minimal power steering. It took both feet with all my weight to bring vehicle to a stop. IF I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON MAIN ROAD GOING 45 or 50 MPH (or God forbid, on the freeway), I WOULD HAVE BEEN IN A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT. We were lucky we were able to stop still in the parking lot. Rivian has car now. I have mentioned Lemon Law, nobody has gotten back to me with update on status of vehicle since in service and/or regarding Lemon Law. As mentioned in original post, I was on original wait list and big fan of Rivian. However, even if they inform me the vehicle is "fixed" I am afraid to drive this with my family in it or by myself. I am not sure what to do, but will probably need to get a lawyer involved to inform on how I should proceed.
