Picked one up for a $140 offer as well. Thanks for that tip! A bit skeptical of quality, but does look legit from the photos so far. May take it apart when it gets here to compare inside as well. Unless these are glued shut entirely?

I will say, considering the Tesla mobile chargers are $230 now (https://shop.tesla.com/product/mobile-connector) this doesn't seem like an unreasonably cheap price for a real Rivian one that was bought in bulk...

I went ahead and put an offer in as well. I'll make sure it works and its just an emergency backup on road trips. Don't want to keep unplugging the one that came with the truck, as its my primary charger.

This is a reasonable explanation. Nobody is going to go to the effort to perfectly knock-off the Rivian mobile charger of all the options out there. As for “not passing QC,” this is really not a concern. EVSEs are stupid simple. They’re basically an extension cord with a relay. There’s virtually nothing that can go wrong and if something were to, the car is designed to protect itself. See a deal? Cop it.

Maybe there's overstock of Rivian CCS chargers now that they're planning to switch to NACS. That could explain the sell-off at a good price.

What's the typical charge rate at 110v? Have a family member that lives 2 hours away that we sometimes park with when flying out of an airport near their home, but they don't have a 240v accessible so would only be able to plug at 110v.

Wondering if there's any value to picking one up to leave there where it may be plugged in at 110v for 5-7 days at a time.

When I tried it last, I was getting 1 to 2 miles per hour, It might have peaked at 3 miles at night... It may have been the plug that was the issue, it was an outdoor plug in the middle of a driveway.

I won’t bother with more pics but mine arrived today brand new, doesn’t look tinkered with and charging per normal with both adapters. Beautiful!

My best guess now is either stolen (former employee/supplier) or they truly work for some company who bought a fleet of rivians and they were raided.

Mine also arrived today in a beat up oversize cardboard box, 2 days early. It tried it out. I works just like the unit that came with Arty. They are identical.
