As the header says. Just saw these pop up on Tire rack. These will be going on my R1t in the next 5k miles.

The Type 52's look great on your R1T @cevans. Are those the stock Scorpion AT's on them? I know that you only recently got them, so won't ask for anything but first impressions.

I do have some other questions about the wheels however, and they are directed toward both you and @Eric9610.

It looks like the load rating for the Type 52 is 2,535 lbs, which is a bit less than the stock wheel. Any concerns about that? TR recommends retaining the stock tire 65 aspect ratio, but I would like to use 60 series, and to chang from the stock AT's to AS's to help improve range. Any thoughts on this in terms of suitability with the Type 52? I'm specifically thinking of the General GTS 60 tires.

I am not an expert on the weight thing, but a lot of members have the 52's in other colors and seem to not have any issue.

Related to going 60s vs 65s its not an issue. In fact, I plan to go with 60's since it will be almost identical to the stock 21's and won't require recalibration.

They should make a gunmetal finish. Black wheels just disappear in anything other than direct sunlight.

You're fine, rear GAWR is just under 5k.

I don't make it a habit to drive around at maximum payload while trailering a maximum weight trailer while traveling at maximum speed either. ;)
You, sir, have not lived.

These are a solid value and have the correct +48mm offset as well. No problem using them on an R1. If I was looking for a back-up wheel today, these would be near the top.

I went with the Hellcat wheels, with blemishes (to save $) as my back-ups almost 2 years ago. Put them on my wifes R1S last week.
