There's one manufacturer out there, I think BMW or Benz, that turns the door color red if the door is open to help people know they didn't latch the door. Would be a cool use for the interior lighting.

In my Audi Etron prior to my R1T:

If you are parallel parked and there are cars driving by, the door light bar goes red to warn you of danger similar to blind spot warning.

They sure do! I’ve always wondered why this was only utilized once, with no control within the UI (although obviously not a super high priority item early on).

I've always wondered if the interior LED are really RGB why did they chose red when they could have done orange.

I like they moved the storage pockets to the back of the frunk, when putting heavy things in and out of the frunk (cases of water, drinks, etc) you currently have to lift over anything in the netting at the front... this you could slide up the plastic free and easy.... and keep the rarely used stuff in the netting to the back.

True, and actually sounds like (according to Wassym) maybe the OG LEDs do not in fact have the same capabilities as the refresh

Am I the only one that cant see any difference? Love the lighting theme. Probably will never have the time to mess with it, but nice.

Watch one of the videos on YouTube. Then you can see the difference. It looks more like crystal vs. plastic. The light bar charging sequence is different and the headlight act more like a matrix headlight (not blinding others), as well as turning when the vehicle turns.

pretty sure this was already reported to be only available for the refreshed R1's....and not the originals....

From a user on reddit, the new refreshed versions actually have a SMALLER FRUNK compared to V1, not my info but by volume seems to be a lot smaller:

Other minor changes include a heat pump, which will obviously help winter range, and the compressor has been moved off of the firewall to help with NVH. Unfortunately, this comes at the expense of reasonably substantial front trunk space. Not only is there a pretty sizable square cutout from the sub-frunk, but the frunk itself is both shallower and with more gradual walls. Volumetrically, it’s a LOT smaller. There are some things redesigned—gone is the bifold subfloor and magnet in favor of a single piece that can be propped up. It feels functional if a bit cheap. There are also two “pockets” on each side of the frunk tub; however, they’re relatively small and I’m not sure what you’d put in them beyond some documentation or a compressor hose.
