New Tesla Supercharger Whistler BC

Hello all, just tried adaptor at new Tesla stations at whistler, tried few different stations, could not charge, no problem at other 3rd or 4th gen stations, anyone from BC have any insight?

Looking at plugshare, which charger exactly in whistler? Whistler Marketplace 4370 Lorimer Rd, Whistler, BC V0N 1B4, Canada appears to work for non-tesla.

Thats the one, ten new stations, should work, there was a ford lightning charging with an adapter

You don't need your adapter....I was just there last week and the new Tesla chargers at market place have the adapters on the chargers. all you have to do is press the button on handle when removing wand and the adapter comes out with it . I used it with no problems.

Ooooh, I can’t wait to use this one! Whistler has been a DCFC desert with only those two crap ones in the convention center garage. Sorely needed!

According to Tesla Find Us, there are 12 stations and an adapter is required.

It looks like there’s 12 stalls there from what the Tesla app says, and it also lists it as not having CCS adapters which seems to be clearly wrong. ??‍ I’ll be curious to see how often it gets ICE’d, that parking lot is small and always packed and I can’t imagine the locals are excited about losing that many spots.

yes whistler was horrible for DC charging prior to these, now we can charge up and hit the Duffy lake loop or head up to spruce lake wilderness area !! So excited for summer!

I’m just excited to be able to get to Whistler in one shot from Seattle without stopping at that shitty Electrify Canada station in Squamish.

When I first went there I couldn’t figure out how to get the adapter to come out with the wand.. then saw a little button and then it came out with the adapter on it. Worked great ! Super fast. There is also a BC hydro fats charger below the convention center in parkade.. cheers
