I dirve my rivain about 200 miles per day when I charge to 70 % I'll return home with as little as 14 miles to E. Is it better for thelong term battery life to charge to 85% and have more reserve?

I would go 85% and leave more in the tank.
Sweet spot is supposed to be higher than 20% and lower than 80% according to people smarter than me. Ask your company to consider installing EV chargers, I had success with that surprisingly.

You have a truck with EPA range of 314 miles which you charge to 70% giving you 220 mi range, drive 200 and wind up with 14 left. Sounds about right to me. The very general rule of thumb seems to be to stay out of the top and bottom 20% of the SoC range meaning between 20% and 80% which should give you 0.6*314 = 188 miles and would be just about ideal. As Rivian does not grant us the luxury of any choices other than 70, 85 or 100% (to the dismay of many) seems your best bet would be to charge to 85% and discharge to 85 - 200/3.14 = 21.3%. This keeps you out of the loweer 20% and only violates the upper 20% by 5 which I don't think is too bad at all. It is also always good to have something in reserve towards journey's end.

Also, IIRC the option to display remaining miles or percentage SOC on the dash is coming. S00N.

We really need tee-shirts.

FWIW, when my R1T was delivered, the Rivian techs explicitly told me that I should daily charge to 85%.
