Hello all-new to the forums but been lurking for some time. Patiently waiting for my number to come up on the R1t preorder.

Anyway-spotted something that I found interesting at our local Jeep dealer yesterday when I took my wife's Jeep in for service-

So apparently my local dealer has not one, but two R1t's for sale. So, if you are in the market for one and have about $95K I know where you can get one lol!

Interestingly they also had a Lightning as well. Was nice to be able to see them both in person right next to one another.

I am guilty of lurking, too. I placed my deposit Sep 2021, and settled in for a long wait given how many were ahead of me in a very slowly moving line. I found this forum that same month and have followed it frequently ever since. Until now I have not really felt qualified to participate, never having owned an EV or a pickup, but I am really grateful to the many who share their expertise, experience, and ideas here. I have learned a lot!

I had placed a deposit on a Lightning back in June 2021, but when Ford gave me the chance to configure my order, I balked. I do prefer the Lightning's frunk, and Ford's future is less risky than Rivian's, but the Lightning never captured my imagination quite like the R1T. Like most others who have only driven ICE vehicles, it has been very difficult for me not to be overwhelmed by range anxiety; so I was all-in on the Max pack from the beginning. I did see the writing on the wall a few months ago, but held out hope until the recent announcements. A week ago I was given access to the R1T shop, and that forced me to think hard about my remaining choices. Looking at the shop listings I realized that any one of them would very likely make me very happy, and in that moment I decided that I wanted the quad-motor more than the comfort of a bit more range. I found a FG/FE truck with AT tires and even a working tonneau cover. I take delivery next week.
