New Valentine wiring connection

I believe the wiring has changed in the cover behind the rearview mirror to be able to attach a valentine directly inside that cover. The spades that I have don't seem to be able to insert themselves in the black-and-white wire spot anymore. There's just simply no room in the wire seems to be too thin to try to splice it. I'm connecting it, therefore too the USB-C plug in the center council for now. Anyone has any suggestions? I would greatly appreciate it as it was as anyone knows who tried this very difficult to get that cover off the windshield. I am attaching this picture of the device that I created. You simply squeeze the two red buttons on the basin. It pops off from the magnet. It's a very strong and secure connection.

Hey @jn bot , could you provide the link for that magnetic mount?

As for tapping into the harness...are you able to get at the wires behind the connector? Maybe you can use these mini Posi-Tap splicers if there is enough room. A picture of the stuff under the cover might be helpful.

Get a long USB-C cable and just run it up into the header over to the passanger A piller, down into the footwell and use a fuse tap and a USB C power adapter. They sell the kits on Amazon pretty cheap. It's good practice for when you decide to go with Comma AI !
